I came in with concerns about my transmission overheating and leaving it up to the shell team to diagnose my truck and go from there. They were aware I was already willing to leave my truck with them if I needed a new transmission. I left the truck with them overnight. The next day they messaged me telling me all was good. They test drove it multiple times to make sure. They could have easier taken advantage of me and took me for a lot of money. They were honest and professional. Would recommend them and will go there if I have any future issues.

Super professional and clearly communicated the smog test process. After hearing that the truck had been off the road for some time, They checked that the vehicle was ready to be tested by looking at the computer data. I had already taken my 2092 truck to another smog test business. They didn’t check the computer data before running the test. Since the battery had just been replaced, there was no data in the system so the test failed automatically. AND they flooded the engine so that it wasn’t drivable until the next day. I’m so glad I went to Palo Alto Shell this time and plan to return to them for my other car.

Service here is thorough and affordable! I needed a smog check but my check engine light was on. Palo Alto Shell was able to fix the problem and then I came back for a successful emissions test. The only downside was they had my car for most of the week for repairs. However, I am completely satisfied with both the quality of the work and the affordability, which is most important to me. The mobile payment system as well as the status reports were easy to use and very convenient!

I hope to have a continuing outstanding relationship with the technician staff at Shell for servicing my vehicle as this was my first experience. It was unexpectedly complicated but they were patient in explaining to me the time and steps it would take to complete the job over a few days to make sure it as done thoroughly. I can completely understand why this team is quite popular and busy.
