Went for two pre-purchase inspections. Ravi and his crew are knowledgeable and efficient. I appreciated their system that included print-outs with photos and graphs of what needed to be dealt with. I hope I don't have a problem with the car I ended up buying, but if I do, i'm definitely going to Palo Alto Shell!

It took about two hours for this oil change care steps. The price went up a bit for this oil change. Plus wearing the mask was required, although it was pretty warm. I guess the works miss smelling the gas by wearing the masks. Good job, people:))

This is an update from my earlier review. As you can see from Kyle's response, he is difficult to deal with. There are other places who can do the job and are helpful and compassionate - best to stay away from this place.

smog check efficient and easy even in the time of Covid distancing

The attendant not friendly?

Palo Alto Shell was super fast and accommodating. I called them in the AM and they had a spot open in the PM same day with 30 min. window to get there. They had social distancing measures in place and sanitized the driver's side of the car before performing smog check. Quote for job was sent to me via text and easy to approve so there was no question how much it would cost. Estimated time to complete was 30 min and they did it in 20. Retrieved paperwork and paid inside. They have PayPal option which you can set up before coming if you want to completely avoid paying on-site. With coupon, smog check was significantly discounted, which is a huge help during these difficult times. All in all, would recommend.

Scheduled smog check. Started early, done quickly and efficiently. Have had smog checks done there for years, always with good service.

Excellent service as always. Had both cars SMOG tested this week, they have setup a very safe environment, no touch, disinfecting the cars upon completion. Their new SMS system is very clever also - text to approve service, text when complete, Apple Pay at checkout - I had been putting this off due to COVID, glad I got it done.

Their service ervice is prompt, efficient, courteous, and reasonably priced.
