I’ve been coming here for years for all repairs and maintenance needs of my Volkswagen. The service is great, the people very knowledgeable and friendly and they really listen. This time, I didn’t want to spend too much since this is an old car and they took the time and explained the pros and cons and helped me identify the best course of action without pressuring me into paying for anything I didn’t want. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Great service

Not a ton to say here. It is you typical gas station with an auto shop attached. It is in a convenient location along the El Camino Real. There are ample pumps and it is open 24/7. The store is more of a shack with a limited amount of offerings. The area was clean I did not interact with the staff and the prices were Palo Alto average (high).

I got a walk in smog test. It was $95 and took about 25 minutes. I got a text msg when it was complete although I just waited there. There's not really a waiting room since it's a gas station but there's a bench. 5 stars since it was a smooth process.

Excellent service on all fronts. Super well-informed technicians who spend time describing the needs of your car. Our car is pretty old - 2004 - with high mileage. The El Camino Shell team has kept it running for most of its long life! Highly recommend this repair shop!
